Our team is made up of programmers, event coordinators, marketers, tech enthusiasts and more, all from the Georgetown community.

Anthony Duan

Anthony is a third-year in the College of Arts and Sciences who initially majored in Economics before taking COSC 051 and adding on Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. He is from Ellicott City, Maryland, and in his free time he likes listening to music, walking around the neighborhood, and hanging out with the Quizbowl and MUN teams! He is here to learn about machine learning :D

Arsema Gebreegizabher

Arsema Gebreegizabher is a freshman at the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Computer Science. She is originally from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, but was raised in Washington, D.C. She enjoys learning new programming languages and researching new tech in her free time but also loves to spend time with her family. She joined GDT's Marketing Team to develop her marketing skills while networking with other like-minded students.

Asadullah Azimi

Asadullah is originally from Afghanistan and levied in India for 4 years. He is in the college of arts and science studying computer science. Apart from academics, he likes to spend his free time visiting new places, meeting friends and new people, volleyball is his favorite sport. He joined GDT to gain practical experience by working on real world projects.

Bhagirath Khemka

Bhagirath is a bilingual business student at Georgetown University who is passionate about entrepreneurship and problem-solving. With a diverse background in finance, entrepreneurship, and volunteering, he brings a unique perspective to the table at GDT.

Bradley Hu

Bradley Hu comes from Delaware, and is currently in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Computer Science. He joined GDT to gain experience working on a project as a team, and to learn new programming languages. In his spare time, Bradley enjoys reading the webcomic xkcd and playing video games.

Caroline Blakeman

Caroline is a first-year student studying Computer Science and Government. She is thrilled to be a member of GDT's Research and Writing Team and is looking forward to exploring emerging trends in tech policy. Growing up in Central Wisconsin, Caroline has always loved spending time outdoors, going for runs, and playing tennis. At Georgetown, she enjoys contributing to the Sketch Comedy Club and exploring Washington, D.C.

Chris Bond

Chris Bond is a freshman in the MSB studying Operations and Analytics. He is from Athens, Georgia and is deeply interested in data structures and computer science. He also loves cooking, and has a killer omelet.

Claire Mucyo

Claire Mucyo is a sophomore in the College studying Government with a minor in Tech, Ethics, & Society. She's also involved in the Student Advocacy Office on Campus. She joined GDT to learn more about tech policy and governance after taking a class that touched on the ethical implications of technology. Outside of school, she loves to go on nature walks and hikes, excerise in fun ways (she just joined club boxing), and spend quality time with friends.

Eamon Maloney

Eamon Maloney is a freshman at Georgetown University in the College of Arts and Sciences. He is from Falls Church, Virginia(about 30 minutes outside of DC). He is a Linguistics major, with a minor in Italian, and is a member of the Foreign Language and Linguistics Hager Scholars colloquium. In Eamon's free time, he enjoys playing and listening to music, reading(fav book is Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy), working out, and martial arts. Eamon also enjoys studying new languages, and is currently studying Russian and Latin outside of class. Eamon joined GDT in 2023 because he is interested in web design and is very passionate about creating user friendly websites.

Elise Zhu

Elise Zhu is a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences. She is majoring in Computer Science with a minor in math. After taking several classes in web development and AI in high school, she was drawn to continuing to build projects as a member of Georgetown Disruptive Tech. Originally from Fairfax, Virginia, Elise also enjoys dancing, reading, and drinking bubble tea.

Felix Dosmond

Felix Dosmond is a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences. His hometown is Greenwich, Connecticut. He joined GDT because he enjoys connecting with others, and wanted to learn more about a variety of different fields through his work in outreach. He was also drawn to GDT by the exciting atmosphere of the organization created by the leaders.

Finley Walshe

Finley is a Marketing and Management double major in the MSB from Los Angeles. He enjoys playing golf, watching movies, and learning about new tech, especially virtual reality and augmented reality tools. He joined GDT’s marketing team in his freshman year to learn more about disruptive tech, surround himself with tech-passionate people, and practice digital marketing skills.

Gitanjali Reddy

Gitanjali Reddy is a third-year undergraduate junior at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service. She is pursuing a B.S. in Science, Technology, and International Affairs with a concentration in Security Studies. She researches emerging technologies for military use, defense policy, and national security law.

Isabelle Darman

Isabelle is from Monmouth County, New Jersey. She is a first year in the College pursuing Computer Science and Theater and Performance Studies. She attended an all-girls school with an emphasis on STEM, where she first learned to code. She enjoys reading on the beach and hanging out with her cat Daisy in her free time.

Katie Merrill

Katie is a computer science major in the College, and she is from Fairfax County, Virginia. She joined Disruptive Tech because she is interested in how computer science can be used to make a positive impact in the world, both in big and small ways. Other than computer science, she also likes spending time with friends, drinking tea, and swimming.

Kenneth Kim

Kenneth Kim is from Suwon-si, South Korea. After spending four years in Virginia, he chose to come to Georgetown. In Georgetown University, he majors in mathematics & Economics in the College of Arts & Science. His hobby is reading articles about technology and ethics, and most of his interest these days focuses on philosophical values in modern technology. He joined GDT to share his ideas and interest to Georgetown and the world!

Kolby Palmer

A proud Philadelphia native, Kolby first became interested in technology through his physics coursework at Georgetown. Currently a rising junior in the College of Arts and Sciences, Kolby is passionate about developing technologies to improve healthcare systems and sustainability. At GDT, Kolby aspires to redefine how Georgetown students interact with technology while simultaneously bringing positive impact to the local community through student-led projects.

Lucas Raskin

Lucas is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying physics and economics. His upbringing in New York City shaped his interest in biotechnology and material sciences. He joined GDT to connect with other tech-interested folks on campus.

Lucy Xie

Lucy is in the College majoring in Computer Science with minors in Mathematics and Studio Art. She comes from Frederick, Maryland and she is interested in digital art, swimming, and anime. Lucy joined GDT to gain more hands on experience with technology that isn’t taught in class and to channel her creative abilities towards fresh opportunities.

Mimi Lee

Mimi is a Freshman in the college excited to explore the academic and extracurricular opportunities on campus. She joined GDT because of her interest in current discourse about the internet’s influence on young people, as well as her fascination with technology policy and the ethics of AI in its ever-expanding role. She is also eager to learn more through GDT.

Minseo Kang

Minseo Kang, originally from New York, New York, is a dedicated member with a passion for economics. He pursued his studies in the College of Arts and Sciences at Georgetown. For Minseo, joining GDT was a move to mix his academic knowledge with practical experience through contributions to real-world projects.

Nick Errico

Nick is from Connecticut, but originally from New York, and is in the MSB, studying Finance. He loves playing tennis, is an avid sports fan, and has recently become very interested in tech and AI. Nick joined GDT to be a part of its amazing community and is eager to complement his financial and geopolitical knowledge with technical learning and research.

Olivia Zhao

Olivia Zhao is a first-year student in the McDonough School of Business from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She looks forward to developing her skills in data science and machine learning by tackling actual needs that real people have. In her free time, she enjoys painting, birdwatching, and very casual cycling.

Pk Karnik

PK is a first-year student who calls New Canaan, Connecticut home. As someone with an international family with many people who work with innovative tech across many sectors, he has always been interested in how these two issues intersect and thus, as a student in the SFS, he is drawn to Georgetown Disruptive Tech. He learned to code in high-school and looks forward to building on his skills in innovative ways.

Saanvi Bhagwat

Saanvi is a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences planning to major in Economics and Computer Science. In her free time, she enjoys watching Friends, baking, running, and spending time with friends and family. She joined GDT join a community of tech-lovers as well as learn more about data analytics, machine learning, and so much more!

Sam Berryessa

Sam Berryessa is a first-year in the College at Georgetown currently studying Chinese. From Seattle, Sam graduated from Lakeside School in 2023. He likes to play piano, tennis, and volleyball. Sam joined GDT because he wants to use his previous coding experience to work on real world problems and build his portfolio.

Victoria Cheng

Victoria Cheng is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Computer Science. She is passionate about connecting with fellow tech enthusiasts and leveraging technology to serve her community. Originally from Bethesda, Maryland, Victoria also enjoys drawing, reading, and doing crosswords.

William McGonagle

William McGonagle is a freshman at Georgetown University in the McDonough School of Business. He joined GDT in the fall of 2023 because of the computer science community surrounding the club. Originally from Bridgeport, Connecticut, William is passionate about sailing, writing, and spending time outside.
