Katie Merrill

Katie is a computer science major in the College, and she is from Fairfax County, Virginia. She joined Disruptive Tech because she is interested in how computer science can be used to make a positive impact in the world, both in big and small ways. Other than computer science, she also likes spending time with friends, drinking tea, and swimming.

Katie is on a GDT developer team that is currently working on redesigning the Georgetown Radio Club's website. As this is her first year participating in Disruptive Tech (and being in college), Katie doesn't know exactly what to expect, but she's excited to be a part of it!
